Our reputation is everything to us
We specialise in government, public sector and third sector technology transformation – we don’t work with the private sector – and we only undertake assignments where we believe we are the best choice for our clients and can add real value.
Our reputation in the public sector is everything to us.
At all times we seek to partner with our clients and act as their independent, trusted advisor, with a shared ambition to deliver meaningful change, enhance performance and ensure investments deliver optimal value.
We recognise our clients need both long-term, project-based, multi-person engagements and short-term, short-notice, single person engagements, and we adopt a flexible engagement approach which can deliver either.
Our engagements typically involve the following phases:
- On-boarding
- Discovery
- Alpha
- Beta
- Transition to Live
- Off-boarding
All engagements are delivered using SC and DV security-cleared personnel.
Relationships and values
We maintain strong relationships with GDS, NCSC and the Technology and Digital Leaders Network (TDLN) and have public sector digital and technology transformation at the forefront of our thinking in everything we do.
We take our core values very seriously. For us, they are the recipe for the success of our company and serve as the foundation upon which we work and interact with our co-workers, partners, clients, and communities.
On-boarding
Working with your leadership team we provide objective facilitation, appropriate challenge, and experience gained with other government departments to help you determine the art of the possible, hone your vision, and gain consensus.
Once a Statement of Work (SoW) has been mutually agreed and the associated Purchase Order received, project resources are mobilised, including a Lead Consultant.
As your dedicated point of contact, your Lead Consultant will engage with your nominated point of contact to confirm the project schedule and arrange a project start-up meeting at your site, with the project sponsor and other relevant stakeholders.
During this start-up meeting, we confirm the scope of the engagement, the key activities, deliverables and expected outcomes, high-level timescales and the input and engagement required from your stakeholders to ensure success.
Follow on activities are then planned and executed.
Off-boarding
Our off-boarding process varies on a per engagement basis, to reflect context, client requirements and desired outcomes. Specific activities and deliverables will be defined in detail in the SoW.
Our off-boarding process typically includes the following handover elements:
- Transition to Live – sign-off
- In-house capability – handover
- Documentation
- Decommission of legacy services (where applicable)
- Next step recommendations
During off-boarding we will ensure all agreed deliverables have been met and accepted by the client, ensure that skills have been transferred (where appropriate) and that any client data obtained through the course of the engagement has been removed from our systems in strict accordance with the data deletion policy relevant to the information classification level.
Training
As a result of our extensive government and public sector engagements, we recognise the value of building in-house capability and ensuring your own staff can operate, manage, maintain and improve the technology, services and platforms we have delivered after our engagement is over.
We take a “train the trainer” approach throughout the projects we undertake. This differs in approach to standard training courses, as your staff are trained in both the technologies and architectures we are delivering and in how to pass this knowledge on to their colleagues.
We work closely with your technical staff throughout our engagements, helping them to “learn by doing” and transferring essential skills and knowledge to your in-house team.
We can also source and arrange formal training for our clients and their staff via relationships we have in place with several vendors (including AWS, Microsoft and Google) and training providers.
