MSC Digital is pleased to announce the appointment of former i3Works Head of Assurance Nora Harris as Business Operations Director to help drive an ambitious growth strategy with expansion into local government and the third sector.
Nora has a strong track record managing large technical and digital projects for public sector organisations as a highly experienced portfolio, programme and project assurer and manager. She has worked in digital transformation with the UK public sector since 2010.
Public services matter
MSC Digital CEO and Founder David Turner explained the company’s vision:
“Public services matter very much. Having come from within UK government, I started MSC Digital specifically to serve the public sector because I know first-hand the challenges public servants face every day, always trying to do more with less, and I believe passionately in the transformative possibilities that digital transformation provides in the delivery of those services”.
“Our purpose-driven manifesto, combined with our public sector background and digital and technical leadership has led to phenomenal organic company growth and in 2021 we were named as the UK’s #32 fastest growing public sector technology company in the Tussell/TechUK Tech200.
Expansion to local government
Now is the time for a structured, strategic approach to sustainably scale our business and expand and accelerate the good we can do for the public sector.”
“While we will continue to work with our long-term central government partners, our focus is now to deliver these important digital and technology transformation projects across local government – the sharp end of public services delivery – and to not-for-profit organisations, to provide improved outcomes for the public good.”
“As we expand into local government and the third sector, the rich experience brought by Nora will help us move at an accelerated pace to meet the needs of our current and future clients.”
Company ethos and growth
The company ethos and ambitious growth plans were key to Nora’s decision to join MSC Digital.
“I recognised the growth potential straight away because of MSC Digital’s impressive track record with UK government,” she said, “and I want to play a key role in this next phase of growth.”
“I was really attracted by the authenticity of the business: too often public servants are ill-served by suppliers and MSC Digital is a total contrast to that and unique in the field. Our whole mission is to help public servants deliver better public services – and make their working lives easier in the process. That’s really compelling.”
“This is a great opportunity to further strengthen our company culture as we grow, to attract exceptional, purposeful people and create the infrastructure, processes and systems that will underpin that growth.”
